Inspired by 80s post-punk and 00s horror, Cardiff three-piece Lantana concoct a gloomy, nostalgic atmosphere in every song, perfect for lonely late nights dreaming of what once was.
Since their debut release in February 2025, Lantana have received airplay on stations in Ireland, Spain, the US, and UK (including on BBC Introducing) quickly cementing their places in alternative corners across the globe. The band have also attained over 50,000 Spotify streams.
Lantana's second EP ‘No Room To Breathe’ will be released this summer and focuses on themes of decay and stagnation. The EP was produced by Rees Broomfield (previous credits include The Boxer Rebellion, Dr. Feelgood & Kate Nash) at SS2 Recording in Essex, and the first single "American Mind" will be released on June 22nd.
