Sawtega are a fresh Nu-Grunge Nettle-Core band from South Wales. They blend punchy and rhythmic riffs with groove which contrasts unrestricted, soaring melodies. Sawtega are a four piece consisting of Vocals (Izzy Warren), Guitar (Dylan Burris), Bass (Mark Naylor) and Drums (Lewis Richards).

Their imagery is heavily inspired by the 'Final Girl' trope in horror, using this as a metaphor for battling through emotional trauma and adversaries. They strive for a safe space for all people to feel their emotions and experiences mirrored through this metaphor providing a form of release and reflection.
